Nolido Castro is a 17-year-old center forward from the Dominican Republic, graduating in 2026 and registered as an amateur with Downtown Soccer Academy and under no professional contract — free to sign, with no transfer fee applicable, and available for trial immediately. He turns 18 on 13 January 2027 and is internationally registrable from that date, aligning with the January 2027 window. A modern, high-intensity No. 9, his game combines penalty-box finishing with aerial dominance, relentless off-ball work, and elite pressing intelligence — his academy's scouting department describes him as the team's "first defender." In the FDF's national championship (Torneo Nacional Prejuvenil 2009–2010) he recorded 23 goals and 13 assists in 18 matches — 2.0 goal contributions per game — finishing 2nd nationally in goals and 3rd nationally in assists. Nolido holds a Dominican Republic passport only. Under FIFA regulations governing the international transfer of minors, he becomes registrable outside the Dominican Republic on his 18th birthday — 13 January 2027 — which falls inside the January 2027 window. Trials, visits, and assessment are welcome immediately. He is registered as an amateur with Downtown Soccer Academy and holds no professional contract: he is free to sign, no transfer fee applies, and there is no third-party encumbrance.

Primary: Center Forward — modern No. 9. Secondary: Second Striker / Inverted Winger.
A high-intensity attacking reference point who combines a penalty-box goalscorer's instincts with elite aerial and jump power, and the pressing intelligence to lead the defensive effort from the front.
Off-the-ball movement & timing: Reads the defensive line exceptionally well, timing runs to beat the offside trap and playing on the shoulder of the last defender, repeatedly exploiting the blind side of center-backs.
1v1 composure: Calm and selective one-on-one with the keeper — picks his corner, rounds the keeper when needed, finishes with maturity.
Pressing intelligence — "the first defender": Elite tactical reading from the front: sets the pressing trigger, cuts passing lanes, and suffocates the opposition's build-out. His academy's scouting department identifies this as a defining trait — he leads the team's defensive effort from the striker position.
Unselfish link play & wide drops: Drifts wide and drops off to stretch opposition center-backs, opening interior lanes for onrushing midfielders — reflected in 13 assists alongside his 23 goals.
